For already 16 years, Wouter and I make a pretty great team in enjoying life to the fullest. We complement each other in many ways. We're both reliable, honest, easy-going, well-organised and respectful. I'm the 'voice of reason': I'm the one on top of everything, great at multi-tasking, and I like to keep things tidy and well-organised. I'm very patient and attentive, and easily win the trust of pets in no time- also, and perhaps especially the more shy, sensitive, or easily scared ones. Wouter is the creative, and practical one of us two: he has rebuilt our Brussels apartment from scratch, including making some of the furniture (cupboards, table,...). He knows how to repair almost everything (plumbing, electricity,...) and is up for all kinds of small handyman jobs. He also loves working in the garden (as a wannabe chef, he also loves to experiment with new ingredients). He's the one who will keep your pets well-entertained :). We have been petsitting (usually cats and dogs but also already for birds, snakes, rodents, a turtle and fish aquariums) for many friends and family and since a few years we've also discovered online housesitting platforms. So far we have been petsitting over 25 times for in total more than 70 animals in France, Spain, the USA, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, the Caribbean, Hong Kong,.... We're very attentive to animals that require special attention or animals in need of help. Over the years, we've saved various abandoned cats in Brussels and taken some in (the most recent is Rosie). We have dealt with taking care of pets that are very old/ill and/or requiring special medication. The animals always come first for us: we will respect their rhythm and habits, and adjust ourselves accordingly. You can rest assured that your pet(s) will get plenty of love and attention! We speak Dutch, English, French, German, and a little Spanish and Italian. Wouter also knows some Mandarin. I felt very confident leaving my dog and home in Wouter and Julie's care. They were very professional, kept my updated and gave my dog lots of love and attention.
