Hi, I have been retired a year and have decided that I want to indulge my passions for travel and animals together by pet sitting abroad.
I have pet sat in UK over past couple of years. I have enjoyed my walks in new places with my pet sit dogs. I have returned several times for one client and know it can be a rewarding experience.I keep in touch with several past clients.
I love travel as well, and did some short term volunteering in Europe this year, and that has made me realise how much I want to travel more. My desire for travel unfortunately exceeds that of my friends so I travel mostly alone.
I have my own small dog who pet sits with me in UK, but can stay with friends or family when I travel abroad.I have owned dogs for very many years, mostly having two medium sized dogs, but also cats and when my children were small, caged animals as well.
I have house swapped quite a lot too so am used to living in and caring for other peoples places.
I do some small amount of self employed work, now all online, so having wifi is important though.
Occasionally I am joined by a friend or family member, but always discuss that before sit is agreed.
