My four week-stay at Tessa's has been wonderful. Tessa was there to welcome me, show me everything, hand the keys and introduce me to her two adorable cats. Once gone, she stayed in touch and answered all my questions in a very short time-span, despite the time difference. Her apartment is a very comfy and very well-situated home and Tessa left her bike so it was really easy to move around. The cats were super easy to take care of and very cuddly. I warmly recommend to anyone looking for a nice Hamburg experience !

After a month away it was a treat to return to an immaculately clean and tidy house, with fresh flowers, happy kitties and to be greeted by our friendly house-sitter, Anne-Julie. I can't recommend Anne-Julie highly enough, she is an excellent communicator, a very considerate and conscientious person. She took the time to find out about how the apartment and the cats work, by coming over before we left for our travels. She kept in touch with me regularly while I was in New Zealand, sending photos. It was really reassuring to know Bonnie & Tiger were happy, and to know they were well cared for. I think they miss her!

It was such a pleasure sitting for Nicky and George. They went out of their way to explain things and ease my connections. Although I was snowbound for a few days, I never felt alone. Nicky was always available by Messenger and introduced me to a neighbor who in turn was very helpful. The dogs were very sweet and the cat appeared at feeding time (typical cat!). Nicky and George are blessed to live in a beautiful and very special part of Greece, and it would be wonderful to sit for them again. Thanks for this rare opportunity!
Astrid is a very interesting, independent, self sufficient lady. An easy communication with her to arrange the sit.
During this short winter sit, we had some unexpected dramatic weather conditions and power cuts, she coped admirably on her own and was unfazed by the difficulties this situation created.
She showed care and concern for the dogs and was a great companion to them.
She embraced the Greek culture and was interested in learning as much as she could about the area and rich history.
She was clean and tidy and respectful of our privacy as well as honest and careful with utility expenses. It was a lovely welcome to come home to a clean and tidy, warm home and happy dogs.
Thank you Astrid, I hope out paths cross again.
