My home is a cozy, colorful, and thoughtfully decorated one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. It's located in a beautifully restored former rectory next door to a very famous historic church! The building has been converted into apartments for the very first time, so everything is newly renovated, and it's a secure, boutique building with just 20 residences.
The apartment itself is around 600 square feet, but the soaring cathedral ceilings make it feel twice that size! It's full of personality, natural light, art, books, and little treasures collected from my travels. It's a warm, welcoming space with a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. It's the perfect little Brooklyn retreat, made even better by the company of Bento, my very lovable chocolate Labrador!

Tourism and Leisure
I live right where Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, and Gowanus all converge - the best of all three worlds! It's one of Brooklyn's most charming and vibrant areas, with beautiful tree-lined streets, historic brownstones, independent boutiques, fantastic restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and a real neighborhood feel.
There are wonderful cafés, bakeries, wine bars, restaurants, and little shops just a few blocks away, plus easy access to the waterfront, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and some of the city's best neighborhoods. The subway is nearby, making Manhattan and the rest of NYC easy to explore.
It's the perfect home base for experiencing everything New York has to offer while enjoying a quieter, more local side of the city. You'll get to live like a Brooklynite rather than a tourist! I've also put together a whole Google Doc full of my favorite local spots, hidden gems, restaurants, bars, and recommendations across NYC, which I'd be delighted to share with you to help you make the most of your stay!
