This coverage, included at no extra cost in your active subscription, protects you in the event of damage caused to your property during a stay. It complements the spirit of voluntary exchange that defines our community, while providing real peace of mind.

What the Home Protection covers
Nomador Home Protection applies in the event of material damage caused to your property or belongings during a stay, by either a house-sitter or a pet. Coverage can reach up to €50,000 per year, with a fixed €30 deductible per incident. This guarantee gives you peace of mind and ensures a clear, transparent framework for everyone involved.
It also covers exceptional cleaning costs when an incident requires professional intervention—for example, unusual dirt or stains requiring specialized cleaning. This guarantee follows the same conditions as the damage coverage.
Finally, valuable items, artwork, and bicycles made available to the house-sitter may also be covered in the event of damage during the stay. The maximum coverage for these items is €1,000 per year, with the same €30 deductible as the other guarantees.
What to do in case of an incident
If something goes wrong, you must contact us within 15 days following the house-sitter’s departure. You can email us directly at [email protected]. Our team will guide you step by step through the process of evaluating the situation and submitting your claim.
