As a family
We are Frank and Jess, with our children Kate, James, and Claire, from Ontario, Canada. We’ve lived across the country and love discovering new places together as a family. Housesitting has become one of our favourite ways to travel because it lets us experience local life while giving homeowners confidence that their pets and property are in good hands.
We’ve completed sits from 10 days to 4 months in both city and rural settings. We’ve cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, horses, ponies, pigeons, and even a goose. At home, we’ve also managed our own small acreage with sheep, goats, chickens, and bees, so we understand the rhythms and responsibilities that come with caring for animals and maintaining a property.
Frank is a real estate developer who manages several properties remotely, giving him a strong sense of responsibility and practical experience in home upkeep and problem-solving. Jess is an organized and caring homemaker who keeps daily life running smoothly and makes sure every animal feels comfortable and loved.
We see housesitting as a partnership built on trust, respect, and good communication. For us, it’s a meaningful way to combine travel, family life, and caring for the homes and pets of others as if they were our own.
