I moved back to montreal after living in Portugal, China, South Carolina and Ottawa. I work remotely as a Project Manager for a consulting firm. I love this platform because it allows me to combine my love for animals with my passion for traveling. I am quite flexible schedule-wise since I work from home, so I will have a lot of time to spend with your pets.

I know that the idea of having a stranger staying in your home and caring for your pets can seem daunting. My pets are important members of my family, and I’m sure you feel the same way. I can guarantee that I will care for your home and your pets as if they were my own. I have extensive house and farm sitting experience. I was raised by animal lovers and grew up surrounded by animals.

I can assess and troubleshoot emergency or health-related incidents, whether it be for small animals, livestock or horses. I am accustomed to dealing with veterinarians and can provide basic first aid and wound care, administer medication or follow a treatment plan laid out by your vet. I also have a lot of experience dealing with senior pets. I have administered sub-cutaneous insulin injections to dogs and cats. I am also comfortable handling and walking energetic dogs as well as large and extra large breeds.

I think pets, especially anxious ones, tend to warm up to me fairly quickly. I never force my interactions with them. I take the time to understand them and read their body language so that I can meet them on their terms while considering their comfort level. Making sure your pets are happy and comfortable during your absence is my top priority.

I have a lot of experience handling horses and am comfortable dealing with the day-to-day of running a barn. About fifteen years ago now, I worked as a groom and assistant barn manager at competitive riding stables in Canada and in Europe.

I was a super host on airbnb for many years, so I know how important it is to know you are entrusting your home to a respectful and conscientious person. I really like that the reviews on this site ensure mutual accountability and a good experience for all.
