We're in our 40s, and in 2023 have the privilege of doing our second 'mid-career' gap year and are taking a break from work to travel the world slowly.
We have had our own homes and pets and would show the same love and care to your home and pets.
In 2016, when we last travelled for a year, we did two long pet sits in the US and are still in touch with Linda and Tiffany. In 2023, we did pet sitting in Canada in Vancouver (a lovable dog named Rico) and in Kamloops (two beautiful cats who even spoiled us with the occasional cuddle).
We know what it is like to search for someone to look after your home and are happy to help others, but most importantly we get to spend some quality time with some fur kids! We don't currently have any pets as we travel too much and miss the cuddles.
At the same time, we are also travelling the world, doing it slowly to really get to know the different places, cultures and cuisines. House sitting is a great way to do this.
