Hello! We are Erika and Chris, a Canadian–Irish international teaching couple in our late 30s early 40s, looking for house- and pet-sitting opportunities over our break summer period.
I am an Arts educator, and Chris a Design Technology teacher. I love connecting with animals and often leave the host a small artwork or portrait of their pet as a thank-you.
We are experienced pet owners, with our own animals, so we understand how stressful it can be to leave your home and beloved pets in someone else’s care. Because of this, we approach every sit with professionalism, respect, and care. We are reliable, dependable, calm, and highly attentive to routines, instructions, and communication.
Chris is very handy and comfortable handling light repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep around the home. We are also happy to help with additional responsibilities such as garden care, small household projects, or even farm-related work if required.
As teachers, we are naturally organized, trustworthy, and responsible. We treat every home as if it were our own and always aim to leave it as clean — or cleaner — than we found it.
