I’ve had cats all of my life. My last cat passed a few years ago and I haven’t replaced him as I’m reaching retirement age and want the freedom to travel. Yet I find myself suffering from severe kitty withdrawal syndrome.

The only dogs I've had are Golden Retrievers, so I've been very spoiled with their good nature and friendliness. I wouldn't be comfortable with the more aggressive breeds.
