As a couple/duo
We are a queer couple, both working in nonprofits, with a shared interest in adventure. Originally from Pennsylvania with cold, wet winters - we are interested in places with much more sunlight! We are specifically interested in house-sitting as an opportunity to travel to new places, while working remotely. (Seeking longterm sits, between 7 days and 60 days). My partner is the green thumb, but I have learned a thing or two! Together we can support any watering/gardening needs, light housekeeping, and if you need any light repair work. I have wired new light fixtures and altogether can be handy.
In terms of pet-sitting, we both grew up with animals (dogs and cats) and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even goats. Once we were watching over my friend's farm and we found a stray lil puppy. She was shivering, wet, and full of ticks hiding in their barn! We spent that day bathing and de-ticking her; no one knew where she belonged but we found her a home the next day - it was an adventure! No matter what unexpected situation life throws at us, we're pretty adept at handling it :)
