Hi I am Elisa, 32 years old and I am from Mainz in Germany. I was born and raised here but am actually half-German, half-Italian.

I work as an Internal Communication Manager in the Marketing and Communication department of a big technology company. I would describe myself as open, emphatic and conscientious. I have been both an animal and a travel lover since I can remember. I grew up with dogs, rode horses for several years and have been a vegetarian since I was 18. Today, we have two greek tortoise and I regularly care for my parents' senior dog, chickens and vegetable garden.

Basically, whenever I meet animals my heart instantly opens up and they put a smile on my face - no matter if dogs, cats, cows, goats or alpacas...

Recently, my husband Philip and I just did our first dog and home sit (younger rescue dog) with another website (Trusted Housesitters) and we loved it very much. I can't wait for our next sitting adventures.

After school, before starting University, I worked as an au pair in Australia (4 kids) and Italy (2 kids), so I know what it's like to take responsibility abroad.


I am open to do housesitting either alone or as a Duo with my husband Philip (Grammar school teacher for Geography and English) or with a friend or my sister.

I am also a travel enthusiast, outdoorsy and active, and a rather extroverted person. So meeting new people, putting myself in a new surrounding, I find very fulfilling and inspiring.
