As a couple/duo
We are a reasonably fit 70 (me} and 68 year old couple and having just sold our business and our boat, we plan to visit the world to make the most of our retirement. Having run our own business for 17 years, we need something to keep ourselves occupied.
We moved back home to N Ireland after 40 years away and are fortunate to live overlooking the sea in my original home town. We have one son currently in Greece, pursuing a career at sea and our younger son is a musician and artist living in Scotland.
For the past 4 years we have been carers for my Mum, who passed away at Christmas '22, one month short of being 96.
While living in England we had 3 cats for many years but they all passed away before we made the decision to sell the business and return to Ireland.
We love the idea of looking after a home and pets to enable other people to travel, while travelling ourselves. We are honest, ethical and socially very acceptable. In our local community we volunteer with the local Lifeboat, with a summer Music Festival, with a community Orchard group and with the Samaritans. We love sailing and motorboating and enjoy the benefits of a warmer climate that we get most of the time in Ireland ;o)
