I'm retired, and have been a solo house and pet sitter for over two years now. I've cared for animals most of my life but don't have a pet now, so I love the ones I get to visit. I am glad to follow the routine of the pets so they feel comfortable and safe.
Growing up in the country in the Columbia Gorge in Washington state my family always had domestic and farm animals. More recently I've had cats, chickens, and house bunnies. For 8 years I worked with a rabbit rescue teaching people how to foster and adopt rescued bunnies.
As a sitter I've cared for dogs, birds, horses, a bearded dragon, a peacock, etc in Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Ireland.
I like to travel, read, learn about history, do yoga and go on hikes. I'm quiet, tidy and self-reliant. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted and don't smoke. I am happy to care for plants. I have a car in Washington state.
