As a couple/duo
We're fit, non-smoking retirees who want to explore the world. I'm a biologist turned artist, and my husband is a retired professional gardener.
We'll take excellent care of your house, garden and pets. As former homeowners on a small island we have learned to be self-sufficient. My husband is very handy, and we are experienced with wells, pumps, septic systems, wood-burning stoves and boats. He ran his own gardening business for 16 years and then, as groundskeeper/maintenance at an international college, he honed his skills in dealing with any kind of household emergency. I have grown organic vegetables for over thirty years.
We'll also take great care of your animals. Since 2016, we have sat cats, dogs, horses, ponies, alpacas, sheep and hamsters. In the past, we have also owned and/or cared for dogs, cats, turtles, poultry and fish. The pets have all thrived, as have we. While our dozens of five-star reviews are all unfortunately on another site (we are brand new to Nomador), we can still provide direct references from homeowners whose animals and properties we have care for.
Our favourite pastimes are hiking, cycling, boating, reading and music. We love to explore everything - trails, local flora and fauna, coastlines, marine life, new cultures and languages.
I speak fluent French and basic Spanish.
