As a family
Hello,
We are a family of four from Germany: Ariane (39), qualified physiotherapist, currently on parental leave, Timo (40) Videographer & Photographer, Thore (3), and Kaya (1). We are nature lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and creating meaningful experiences together.
Recently, we made the exciting decision to give up our apartment in Germany and embark on a family adventure before our children reach school age. We want to make the most of this special phase of life by discovering different regions, cultures, and ways of living while creating unforgettable memories as a family. This summer, we will be staying in our house in rural Sweden, where we look forward to immersing ourselves in nature and experiencing the Swedish way of life together.
For us, house sitting is the ideal way to travel. It allows us to experience places in an authentic and responsible way while giving homeowners peace of mind that their home, garden, and beloved pets are being cared for with respect, attention, and dedication.
As parents of two young children, we naturally maintain a reliable and well-structured daily routine. We believe this is also beneficial for animals, as it provides them with consistency, companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Since we spend a lot of time at home, we can ensure that pets won't be left alone.
In our free time, we are very active and enjoy staying fit. We love hiking, jogging, strength training, and spending time outdoors. If your pets require plenty of exercise, you can be confident that they will receive lots of activity, attention, and outdoor time with us.
We both grew up in rural areas and have experience caring for cats, large dogs, horses, cows, pigs, sheep, and goats and are open to new experiences. Our children love animals and are always calm, patient, and respectful around them.
We are also familiar with gardening and growing our own fruits and vegetables. We are not afraid of hands-on work - in fact, we enjoy building and creating things ourselves using wood from the surrounding forests. Timo is particularly skilled in practical work and has extensive experience with repairs, maintenance, and woodworking projects.
We are responsible, trustworthy, tidy, and respectful of other people’s property. We understand that it takes a great deal of trust to invite someone into your home and entrust them with your beloved family members, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
We would be delighted to care for your home and your pets as if they were members of our own family.
