Hello! We’re Geoff and Mandy — We are a retired couple, and lifelong travelers with a deep love for experiencing places not as tourists, but as temporary locals. We believe the best way to truly know a place is to live in it: to settle into the rhythms of a neighborhood, shop at the local market, discover favorite cafés, and become part of everyday life, even if only for a little while.
For the past several years, our lives have been split between adventure and intentional living. We spend roughly six months of the year aboard our sailboat, usually exploring the Caribbean, and the other six months traveling the world. At the moment, Europe is calling to us, and we’re excited to immerse ourselves more deeply through house sitting.
House sitting feels like a natural fit for how we move through the world. We understand that opening your home — and trusting someone with beloved pets — is deeply personal, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are respectful, tidy, dependable, and genuinely enjoy caring for homes and animals. Over the years, we’ve shared our lives with a wonderfully eclectic mix of pets and animals, from cats and dogs to reptiles, chickens, goats, pigs, and even horses, so caring for animals feels less like a task and more like home.
