Animals with specific needs | 2 Dogs

We have 2 dogs Sammy and Lucy:

Sammy: She’s a 6-year-old mixed-breed dog with dachshund-like features. Sammy underwent back surgery, so while she walks normally, she cannot jump or climb stairs. A short daily walk of 15–20 minutes keeps her happy and comfortable.

Lucy: She’s a 5-year-old mixed-breed, she is nervous, shy and protective, so she tends to bark at the first contact with new people (she is not aggressive just want to be sure she is safe), then when she notice that you are not a threat she gradually gains confidence. So, what we usually recommend with Lucy is basically ignoring her 100% until she shows signs of being more confident with you. Because of that she should always be walked with a leash.

Food and water are dispensed automatically. Water should be refilled every 4 days, and food approximately every 5 days.

Hi, we have a trip planned, so we’re looking for a person or couple who, in exchange for staying in our home, can help us with Sam and Lucy by giving them love and taking care of them :)

Cozy apartment with all the basic necesario things, located between Penha de Franca, Arroios, and Alameda.

Excellent location for tourism as the main bus and metro routes are around 2–10 minutes walking. You will find all services nearby, such as laundries, pharmacies, restaurants, bakeries, etc.

Amazing hosts and amazing experience! I loved staying and taking care of beautiful and cute Lucy and Sammy, such nice girlies to be around! I enjoyed our walks and sharing love with them! Valerie and Kendall are very warm-hearted people, that makes overall experience unique because if their welcoming and kind approach❤️
