We have a long haired cat who mostly stays around the chalet, she needs grooming every few days. There is a garden and plants which will-need watering on a daily basis. Our cat is very nervous around dogs, so unfortunately we are unable to offer re house sitting opportunities to house sitters with dogs

Tourism and Leisure

There is walking, cycle rides, mountain cols Tour de France routes, wildlife. Annecy is a few hours drive away and it is possible to drive to Italy within an hour when the mountain pass is open, usually from end May/early June. A car is needed.

Molly sleeps a lot, but she does enjoy to have company: she quickly moved to our room, and eventually started sleeping on our bed. Wendy and Dick are fantastic hosts, and the region is beautiful. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Wendy & Dick. Nous avons été accueillis autour d'un repas convivial, avons reçu toutes les informations qu'il faut sur le chalet, mais aussi des recommandations de visite dans la région. En automne il y a de super randonnées à faire si le temps le permet. Wendy & Dick sont des personnes sympathiques et détendues et nous avons apprécié passer du temps chez eux près de la cheminée, avec Molly, chatte sociable et câline. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Wendy and Dick are wonderful, hospitable, open people. It was very pleasant to communicate with them and to be in their cozy, beautiful house. The location of the house among the mountains is magnificent! We received a unique and unforgettable experience of real alpine life. Molly the cat is easy to care for and very smart. We quickly established good, emotional contact with her and we became friends, as far as friendship with a cat is possible :), and we had very warm feelings with her. The surrounding region provides a lot of unique opportunities for lovers of sports and mountain walks. Those who find themselves here will be treated to amazing views of nature and delicious local food. Thank you so much, Wendy and Dick! We hug you!
