Needs and animals

2 Cats

We have 2 lovely 7 year old cats( sisters), one long haired , one short haired. The cats do what they like day and night . They have a microchip cat flap. They need feeding ( dry food and water) twice daily. They are healthy and not on any medication. They both like cuddles and company. They will bring rodents or birds in from time to time. There is a cat litter in the bathroom which they use sporadically, so this needs checking and emptying from time to time. It will need cleaning out once during your stay. Please water the flower pots in the house once or twice a week. Mow the lawn once during your stay. Top up pond from water butt occasionally if very dry. Check and empty the letter box every couple days.

House

Lovely old 1930's house on the edge of the very small ancient , funky town of Totnes( 7 min walk to the centre of town). The house is up a steep hill, and you need to walk up hill from where you can park, so not suited for people with reduced fitness. 20 minutes drive to Dartmoor with fantastic walks, same distance to the sea. We have a balcony and wonderful views of Dartmoor and the river Dart. Garden is in 3 parts on terraces, you can sit in all of them. Lots of sunshine. Bath tub and shower.

My stay at Pia’s was really beautiful . Puschka and Saami were brilliant companions , both very independent ,but so affectionate too . A complete joy to be around . Pia and John were welcoming , and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay !
