Nanami is a 10 years old outdoors indoor cat - she loves human company but not necessarily being touched too much. 😅She has opinions on how she should be petted :). She likes sitting close or on you when watching a movie or reading on the sofa/bed and she is very sweet. I expect some play/cuddling time with her. Give her some treats, wet food once a day and check there is enough food in the automatic feeder that feeds her the other two times she eats in a day. Clean fresh water in the fountain.

She sometimes goes into fights with other cats so keep an eye if she is lamenting something.
She also may bring in some prays, it has happened sometimes but not often.

Our house is charming and functional and you have a garden and beautiful surroundings at your disposal. Dates are more or less flexible (+-1 day) but we do have plane tickets booked already. Please contact only if really interested :) *(last year we spoke to 15 different people, all of them with circa 5 side plans and it became really confusing to understand what they really wanted 😅🙏🏼).

This is a garden house (kolonihus) in the typical way: not luxury but cozy and with everything you need in 45 sqm. You have a lot of green around, quiet surroundings with a nice lake you can bathe in and yet close to the city that you can reach with a 30 min walk, bus or 10 min bicycle ride.

You have one bedroom with 120 m bed and a mezzanine with 180 m bed. Stairs and mezzanine can be used at your own risk.

Small functional toilet with washing machines and shower, kitchen and living room in a nice open space. There is a small dishwasher.

For very hot days you can use airconditioning. Good WiFi.

The garden is a patch of heaven, with flowers and vegetable garden, intentionally left with some wild spots for biodiversity.

Tourism and Leisure

Aalborg is a growing university city. it has 130000 people circa and different things to do and museums and caffès to visit. It is called the Venice of the North… maybe that is a bit ambitious, but it underlines it charm. There is a city beach very close to the house, right on the fjord. In summer the west coast is very popular, you can take a 45 minute bus to the coast and easily spend a day at the beach. Down south there is a forest called Skørping that is very nice for walks and nature. It is an old pristine forest enjoyable in summer or winter.

What a great first homesitting's experience! I had a very good contact with Lucia, before-while-after the stay. Her cat Nanami accepted us right away and was really sweet! The house is located in a garden area, very quiet and unusual for city guys, we just loved it!! A lot to see and do in the region. It would be a pleasure to homesit there sometime again <3
