Animals with specific needs | 3 Cats

We have 3 cats who stay inside the appartment and also go up to the rooftop.

"Nasnoussa" is quiet, a bit shy, but also having her crazy five minutes.
Due to an accident as a kitten, "Frida" has only 3 legs. That doesn't prevent her from enjoying life, she is actively moving around and loves excursions to the rooftop.
"Cake" is the youngest. She demands a lot of attention, always wants to be cuddled and close to humans.

The plants on the balconys and the rooftoop don't need any further attention, besides being watered twice a week.

Our cleaning lady Malika is normaly passing by twice a week.

Frida is pretty shy at the beginning. It takes her a lot of time to build up confidence to people. But then, she loves to be close. She is not defending her food towards Cake (who is always hungry and eats everything), so it would be best to feed her alone, in absence of Cake.

I am leaving on the 2nd of July. Would be great if you can come a bit earlier, so that I can show you around. My husband is coming back on the 16th August. If you want to leave a couple of days earlier, we can arrange a take-over for a short period with our cleaning lady Malika.

Large, spacious flat on the 2nd floor, 3 balconies, large roof terrace.
Beautiful sunrise and sunset views.
Quiet, green neighbourhood, Parc Belvedere for walks within walking distance. Medina is about 4 km away. Daily groceries can be bought within walking distance in the neighbourhood, larger supermarkets are about 2 km away.

There is one bike which can be used.
We are having plenty of books about Tunisia (mainly in French), concerning history, politics, culture.

From our place, you can easily discover Tunis centre ville and the médina (by bike, by feet, by tram or by taxi).
Bardo with its well-known museum is just around the corner.
Tennis courts are in 20min car/bike distance.
To La Marsa, Carthage, Gammarth (the northern suburbs on the seaside) it's a 30min ride by taxi, which cost around 15 TND.

Merci à Léna et à Jules pour leur confiance, leur accueil simple et chaleureux et la façon ils organisent la garde de leurs chattes en prenant le temps de tout expliquer pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Ils m'ont mise à l'aise tout de suite et la communication avec eux est agréable, naturelle et fluide. J'ai eu un véritable coup de coeur pour ces trois beautés, attachantes, intéressantes à observer et qui parfois me faisaient presque oublier d'aller visiter la vivante Tunis dont le centre est accessible à pied.😂. Durant trois semaines j'ai pu alterner moments cosy en leur compagnie dans un appartement avec de bonnes ondes et découverte de Tunis et des alentours facilement accessibles en taxi. Pensées également aux mignonnes tortues qui mettent une vie supplémentaire dans les lieux...et qui intriguent l'espiègle Cake. Ce cat sitting est venu clôturer inopinément un beau voyage en Tunisie hors saison qui a été une très belle manière de débuter l'année. Des bises à toute l'équipe 😉 !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour bien accueilli par Léna et Jules. La perite chatte Princesse est très attachante et les tortues amusantes à observer. La maison est idéalement située dans Tunis, propre et bien décorée. On a pu profiter de l' oranger du jardin pour le jus d'orange matinal. Léna et Jules nous ont bien conseillé pour les visites. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Notre séjour chez Léna et Jules a été très agréable. Les chats (Little man et Princess) sont très câlins, joueurs et de bonne compagnie. Les tortues sont autonomes et intéressantes à observer. La maison est spacieuse, propre et confortable, avec un jardin, 2 terrasses, dans un quartier calme. Beaucoup de plantes vertes, des livres et BD sur la Tunisie... Léna a répondu à toutes nos questions avant et durant notre séjour. Nous avons aimé ces échanges, qui nous ont guidés pendant 10 jours. Nous recommandons vivement un séjour tunisien chez Léna et Jules !
