Needs and animals

1 Cat | 5 Horses | 2 Farm animals

Our horses and donkeys require about 1 hour of work each evening. They live outdoors quite happily, and come in for dinner and to be checked over once a day. Of course, they are always happy for more company, but it is not essential.

George, the cat (and ruler of the home - let's be honest) needs to be fed twice a day, and would love if you'd spend some time listening to his stories.

If you could also check the mail and water a few plants while you're here, that would be great!

Diet for horses is listed on a whiteboard in the barn - will provide orientation. Cat feed is straightforward.

Modern farmhouse in the Irish countryside on 14 acres, adjacent to a village with a pub and cash-only shop, and a golf course. Wonderful neighbours, very quiet area. Ideal for quiet relaxation, or as a base to explore other parts of Ireland (90 minutes to Dublin, 60 minutes to Galway). Lots of trees, and a few wild animals too!

We are in the true centre of Ireland. There are great activities in nearby Athlone, a nearby heritage centre and some great pubs, and easy access to many other sites in both Dublin and Galway, as well as those along the Wild Atlantic Way (approximately 1.5 hours to the Cliffs of Moher).
