Pintxo is a 7yo dachshund, very, very social with the people, very affectionate and loving. But as any Teckle they tend to be clingy and protective. He gets along only with some small dogs, and is a bit scared of big dogs. He loves food, and to cuddle with you in the sofa and in the bed, love pets and hugs.
He is also very adventurous; in Switzerland, we take him on hikes and, despite his small size he is strong and resilient. He also loves food and naps.

- He does not have special diet, but he will try to eat everything and all.
- He does not like big dogs, or noisy motorbikes, he will bark at them.
- He is stubborn but will not let you side, so he can be unleashed in some adequate spaces.
- He does not like to be left home alone, and may protest at the beginning, but then he will be ok.

We are travelling on 11 of September, but you can come any day before. Our come back date is on 27th of September, so similarly, we would like someone to stay until 27, feel welcome to stay more days in our house.

House

Hey, we are a couple living in Schlieren, just beside Zurich.

Our house is a 2 rooms (bedroom and office/guest room) and 2 bathroom (1 complete, 1 loo) with an open kitchen (full equip) and big balcony.
We have all comodities: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, freezer/fridge, TV, fast internet, music system, books, boardgames, etc. to make you stay as comfortable as possible.

We also have a small parking area (for small cars), elevator, and bicycle parking on the building.

Our area is a residencial one, very quite, with parks and green areas around.
We are also very close to the train station, so you can be on Zurich city center in 15m, and also tram station.
Around our neighborhood there are several grocery shops, few restaurants, gyms (boulder and climbing gym close by), and what we like the most, a river area, where you can picnic, bbq, swim, walk, float, ride bycicles, etc.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Jara and Giorgi's home and taking care of their wonderful dog, Pintxo. I can honestly say that this has been my favourite pet-sitting experience so far! From the very beginning, Jara and Giorgi made me feel incredibly welcome. They are a warm, kind, and thoughtful couple who took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable in their home. Throughout my stay, they were always available if I had any questions, which I greatly appreciated. And then there is Pintxo... what a truly special dog! He is one of the sweetest, most affectionate, and lovable dogs I have ever cared for. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, playing, and spending quality time together. He also enjoys his walks and accompanying on bike rides from the comfort of his special bike seat. Every day with him was a delight, and he quickly stole my heart. Staying in their beautiful home and caring for Pintxo was an amazing experience that I will remember with great fondness. I genuinely miss him already! Thank you, Jara and Giorgi, for your trust, kindness, and hospitality. I feel very lucky to have met you and Pintxo, and I sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future.
