2 Cats

I have two independent female cats who are used to living both indoors and outdoors. They know their neighbourhood very well and usually return home on their own or when I whistle.

They are quite independent and not particularly sociable with strangers, especially one of them. They need time and patience to become comfortable with new people.

They are not exactly best friends! One is more territorial and confident, while the other is shy and has made the garage her favourite safe retreat.

They have established their own routines and spaces. During winter, they generally prefer sleeping inside the apartment, although they sometimes choose to stay in the garage.

Both cats eat wet food and must be fed separately, as one tends to steal the other's food. It is important to make sure that each cat eats her own portion.

They are used to going outdoors freely and have independent access to a separate garage through a cat flap, which provides a familiar shelter.

However, the garage and apartment are separate, and the cats cannot enter the apartment on their own. The sitter will need to let them in when they return.

During winter, they usually sleep indoors, so maintaining their usual routine is particularly important.

Bolognina is a muticultural neighborhood just outside the center of Bologna. Our house is just in front of a lovely park, 2 minutes walk from a supermarket, 3 minutes from a bus stop to go to the center and 15 minutes walk from the train station. Close to the beautiful Piazza Lucio Dalla, the heart of Bolognina. The place to be if you want to live the real Bologna!
