Meet Tilly, my 7-year-old little companion! 🐾

She is a small mixed-breed dog with a definite touch of terrier in her personality. Tilly is affectionate, sensitive, and very emotional. She loves attention and enjoys being the centre of everyone's world, so she's definitely a needy little girl who thrives on lots of love, cuddles, and companionship.

She loves playing with her cat friend, Cheese, and enjoys going for walks and exploring the world around her. At the end of the day, her favourite place to sleep is right in bed with me.

Tilly is a loving, playful, and sweet-natured little dog who simply wants to feel loved and never be too far from her favourite humans. ❤️

Meet Nimbus and Cheese, two adorable siblings born on the 17th of April! 🐾

Nimbus is an incredibly affectionate and loving little girl. She absolutely adores being held and cuddled and is happiest when she's close to her favourite humans. She has a sweet, tender nature but can also be a little sassy when she feels like it! She and her brother share a special bond and love to snuggle together and suckle on their little blanket for comfort.

Cheese is Nimbus's brother and has a much more stoic personality. He likes to give the impression that he is independent and doesn't particularly need cuddles, but don't be fooled! With a little encouragement, he will happily surrender to affection and enjoy every moment of it.

The two siblings are very attached to each other and often seek one another's companionship. Their little blanket, their cuddles, and the comfort they find in each other are part of what makes them so special.

Together, Nimbus and Cheese are a beautiful combination of sweetness, sass, and quiet affection, each with their own unique personality but sharing an unmistakably special bond. ❤️


Feeding Routine 🐾
Tilly: Tilly eats twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. She has a special diet because she seems to be allergic to regular dog food, so it's important that she sticks to her own food.

Nimbus and Cheese: Both cats eat twice a day, morning and evening. They are still on kitten food, so please make sure they are fed their specific food.

All three have their own dietary needs, so it's important to keep their food separate.

Arrival and Departure

I would ideally like you to arrive one day before I leave. This will give me time to show you around the house, introduce you to Tilly, Nimbus and Cheese, explain their routines and go through everything you need to know to make your stay comfortable.

I think this is a lovely way for us to meet in person, get acquainted and make sure you feel confident and at home before I leave.

I would expect you to leave on the day I return from my trip.

My home is a warm, cosy and welcoming country house located approximately 30 minutes outside Florence, Italy. Surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, it's a lovely place to relax, unwind and enjoy a slower pace of life while still being within easy reach of Florence.

The house has a comfortable, homely atmosphere with plenty of space to make yourself at home. The kitchen opens onto the living room, creating a lovely open-plan space for cooking, relaxing and spending time together.

There are two living rooms available for you to enjoy, so you'll have plenty of space to relax, read, watch television or simply enjoy some quiet time.

A private bedroom on the third floor will be available for your stay, offering a comfortable and peaceful space of your own.

This is a much-loved home rather than just a place to stay. It's a welcoming space where you can enjoy the countryside, experience a little taste of Tuscan living and feel at home while looking after my three furry companions.

Exploring Florence and the Surrounding Area

One of the best things about staying here is the opportunity to explore Florence, one of Italy's most beautiful and culturally rich cities. Located approximately 30 minutes away, Florence is easily accessible and offers an incredible combination of art, history, architecture, food and Italian lifestyle.

You can spend your days wandering through its beautiful historic streets, discovering charming cafés, traditional trattorias, independent boutiques and lively markets.

The Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore): Florence's magnificent cathedral, with its iconic dome designed by Brunelleschi.

Piazza della Signoria: A beautiful historic square surrounded by impressive architecture and outdoor sculptures.

Ponte Vecchio: Florence's famous medieval bridge, lined with jewellery shops and offering beautiful views of the Arno River.

Uffizi Gallery: One of the world's most important art museums, home to masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.

Galleria dell'Accademia: Home to Michelangelo's famous sculpture of David.

Piazzale Michelangelo: The perfect place to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Florence, particularly at sunset.

Boboli Gardens: Beautiful historic gardens behind Palazzo Pitti, ideal for a peaceful afternoon stroll.

Mercato Centrale: A wonderful place to discover Tuscan food, local specialities and Italian culinary traditions.

Beyond Florence, you can explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside, with its rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, medieval villages and picturesque landscapes. The Chianti region is particularly lovely for day trips, wine estates and traditional Tuscan restaurants.

There are also wonderful opportunities for walking, cycling and discovering the smaller towns and villages around Florence.
