1 Cat

Smells is a one year old orange cat who is very friendly, social and affectionate. We sometimes joke that she is more like a little dog because she loves following people around the flat and being involved in whatever is going on. She is curious, confident around new people and always happy to cuddle. She also loves playing hide and seek, chasing strings and occasionally jumping onto your back. While she is naturally playful at her age, she is generally quite relaxed and not especially high energy. Overall, Smells is a happy, easygoing cat with lots of personality and genuinely lovely company.

Smells does not need any special care or medication. She eats three times a day: after waking up, around early evening and before bed. Treats are always welcome and often used for play and training. Continuing her clicker training would be a lovely bonus, but is absolutely not required.

Additional information about these dates

We’ll be spending the Christmas holidays away from Berlin and are looking for a lovely and reliable person to look after our cat and our home during this time. We’re looking for someone who can stay with us for a few weeks, until around late January. We’d love to find someone who enjoys cats and would make themselves at home in our apartment!

We live in a beautiful, newly renovated and modernly furnished 85 sqm apartment with three rooms and a balcony. The apartment has a spacious kitchen, a bright and welcoming atmosphere and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The balcony is fully secured with a cat safety net, so it’s safe for our cat to enjoy some fresh air. The building has an elevator and we have a lovely, attentive and friendly community of neighbours.

We take great care of our home and want both our cat and anyone staying here to feel comfortable and at home.

Our home is located in Prenzlauer Berg, one of Berlin’s most charming and popular neighbourhoods. Known for its beautiful historic buildings, leafy streets and relaxed atmosphere, the area offers plenty of lovely cafés, restaurants, independent shops and green spaces. It’s a very friendly and lively neighbourhood, with great public transport connections to explore the rest of Berlin. A perfect mix of local charm and city life!
