Merlot is an adorable 3 year old cat who loves company! She might be a little shy at first, but once she's used to you, she's the sweetest. I've done a bit of petsitting myself and I expect the petsitter to be affectionate and take care of her and of my place as if it were theirs. I would also like to have recurrent updates on how Merlot is doing during my absence.

Tickets are already bought. It would be great if the housesitter could arrive a day or two in advance so I can show them around and explain the routine.

Cozy apartment 5 min away from the beach. One bedroom, with a living room and equipped kitchen and bathroom.

The apartment is located in the famous neighborhood of Copacabana, right before getting to Ipanema. It's 10 min away from the subway and has many facilities!

I am so grateful for Thay choosing me for this assignment as it was one of the best pet sits I’ve ever had. Her cat, Merlot - aka Bubu - is such a darling, a very sweet young lady; a bit shy at first but a real joy to be with once she warms up to her carer. Not only is she very hassle free and easy to take care of, but also cuddly, playful, and affectionate. It’s quite easy to fall under her spell to be honest :) Thay herself is a friendly, easy going person. Our communication was easy and straightforward all the way. She gave me a warm greeting once I arrived after a long journey, and pampered me with some food and drinks until she left for her holiday. I also got a lot of the insider tips on the local activities and venues which I greatly appreciated. The apartment itself is very convenient, having one of the best locations in Rio, and making it easy to enjoy the best this marvellous city has to offer. Totally recommended.
