Cats are well respected in Turkey and we have number of them who have been with us for over 14 years. Our three main elderly cats are welcome inside and one of them sleeps inside every night. The other two sleep on the front balcony in their boxes. They are approx 15 years of age and are sweet natured and extremely loving. They are fed twice a day and love their food ! We have been with them for the majority of 2020 and have had a pet sitter since 2021. Our pet sitter is having a break and going back to her home country for a few months so we are looking for someone to take care of our cats and home for that time. You will be expected to take a sick to the cat the vet if necessary and will be reimbursed.
We prefer a single cat lover or if a couple BOTH must love cats. Please don't apply if you are not a "cat person". We have had instances where only ONE of the couple loved cats and hence they had not been cared for adequately.

Additional information about these dates

Dates are flexible - the apartment will be vacated on the 22nd December but we would like our sitter here no later than 25th December. We are unsure of when we will return but it will not be before end of March 2021. So it's about a 3 month pet sit. If you stay longer than 3 months in Turkey you will need a Residents Permit.

Modern one bedroom Apartment in a small block of 6. Great Kas view. Renovated kitchen and Bathroom 2020. Close to town. Up hill to apartment and stairs to middle apartment so must be mobile. Our only reason for wanting a sitter is to look after our cats. This is our second home and it is much loved but our cats are our No. 1 priority. Our home is very comfortable and has a welcoming feel. Our furniture is all in great condition. It is A NON SMOKING apartment so we are not after smokers. All you will pay for is electricity cost which is not expensive in Turkey relatively speaking. Our apartment has two bedrooms but one is locked (the smaller room) where we store our clothes and belongings. Our kitchen is new this year and the bathroom as well. Has a sea view from the balcony. Kas is a beautiful little town on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is certainly a popular place to be, but not spoiled (yet !) with tourism but enough tourism to make it an interesting place to be. Kas is a beautiful little town on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is certainly a popular place to be, but not spoiled (yet !) with tourism but enough tourism to make it an interesting place to be.
We are blessed with a great view from our apartment which you will love to wake up to. Kas in the summer is hot ! The town has a laid back feel and is great place to go on long walks. For hikers, it sits on the famous "Lycian Way".

Jane and Ray are wonderful hosts. They went to great length to make sure I would be comfortable during my stay, and were flexible and very understanding when I wanted to take some breaks during my 11 months stay. They arranged my transfer the first time I arrived, prepared a local simcard for me to use and clear written instructions on everything there is to know about the cats, the apartment, as well as helpful recommendations about Kas, where to buy groceries, the restaurants, etc. They kept in touch by texting, always responding if I had questions. They have local friends who were also very helpful. The apartment is modern and comfortable with an amazing view, close to the center. The cats are all very sweet and affectionate. I loved taking care of them at Jane and Ray's place and would come back for sure if I have the opportunity to!
