The house is located near the Tabernas desert in Almeria Province in Andalusia so the location itself is quite special. If you have car (recommended to make the most of the area), the Cabo de Gata and its wonderful hidden beaches and wild landscape is about 45 minutes away.
Also worth visiting and, only 20 minutes by car, is the unassuming port city of Almeria, famous for its Moorish castle and tapas-focused dining and drinking scene. It has even been awarded the Gastronomic Capital of Spain for 2019! There are some great trekking routes around the house and beyond too.

En plein cœur de L'Andalousie, proche de tous ces lieux au nom magique, Grenade, Alméria, Malaga. Jean-Noël nous a accueilli chaleureusement dans sa casa Andalouse, superbement décorée, fleurie et arborée.. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce havre de paix. Tabernas est un petit village très sympathique, un petit marché s'y tient tous les mercredis, et vous pouvez acheter votre poisson frais tous les jours au Mercado. Ne pas manquer le marché d'Alméria, pléthore de produits frais, légumes, fruits et tout 1 sous-sol de poissonniers. Si vous ne connaissez pas l'Andalousie, c'est une excellente opportunité.
