Big garden | Vegetable patch | 2 Cats

We have two black cats (sister and brother) who need to be fed morning and evening. We have front and back vegetable gardens that need to be watered. And some houseplants that require weekly watering.
We are open to a family but the house is small and bed-wise, we have space for a couple in the master bedroom. And a twin bed in the guest room - so family friendly for a family with one child, or two children if they don't mind sharing the guest room and putting a second mattress on the floor.

Cozy typical Normand home (70 m2) on 5,000 m2 property. Big fireplace. Front and back terrace.

Lots of art books and CD's...

Very peaceful. Mostly hear the sounds of birds. And occassionally cows, pygmy goats, chickens, and sheep. In town (2 1/2 km away) there is a produce shop, a little market, a café/bar/Tabac, butcher, bakery, and a very small farmer's market every sunday. 15 minutes away is a larger town with cinema, theatre, larger farmer markets and commerce. Lots of good hiking along the Seine or in the forest (Foret de Bretonne is not far).

It was a pleasure to pet sit for Rebecca and Guillaume. They are very friendly people and they will make you very comfortable from the start. They have a cute house in a very quiet countryside area. You have relatively short access to interesting places to visit from their house (Rouen, Honfleur, and many more). The cats are easy going and easy to take care of. I had a great time caring for them. I definitely recommend this place for future pet sitters. Ce fut un plaisir de prendre soin des chats de Rebecca et Guillaume. Ce sont des personnes très amicales et accueillantes, et ils vous mettront très rapidement à l'aise. Ils ont une jolie maison normande dans un lieu calme et paisible. Vous aurez toutefois accès à des lieux très intéressants à visiter, tels Rouen, Honfleur, et bien plus. Les chats sont très amicaux, et s'occuper d'eux n'a présenté aucune difficulté. J'ai passé un excellent mois. Je recommande vivement cet endroit aux futurs pet sitters.
