Big garden | Pool maintenance

You will get one of our guest appartments but can also freely use the whole common area. The house runs mostly on itself so it will be quite time which you can enjoy in the nature or just on our sunny terrace. And of course, we have full WiFi with high bandwith connection all over the place available, so you can also work remote here, if you like.

The central heating runs on wood, so you would need to be comfortable to feed it ~2 times a day in winter time starting from end of October - and no worries, we'll teach you how to do it, it's modern and easy thing ,-) From May until October the PV installation takes over, that should be hassle free.

The garden is relativly easy to maintain, just watering outdoors and indoor, we'll show you the "where and how".

Our B&B is closed during our absence, there will be only a single guest leaving while we are away. There is nothing to do however, then to collect the key.

*** Note for this stay: We will take our dogs with us *** Our dog "Lima" is a small beagle mix. Very quit, friendly, easy-going and courious as all beagles. And as most beagles she always needs someone around for company, that's why we cannot leave her in a dog hotel. She needs at least 2~3 hours of outside hours every day. Although we don't have a fence around, she normally stays inside the house areal, so most of her "moving time" needs to be done by walking her around - but she will adore to go along with you one of the many paths through the forest ;-)
Beside that, she is totally okay with car driving. So no matter what places you go to visit, taking her with you will be no problem.

It is an old Masia (Catalan farm house), mostly restored to modernized standards and additional two buildings. The main house has our own flat, two appartments and a large common area. It's all fully refurbished to modern standards, heating, warm water etc., all very new. And we just opened this year our Hostal Rural for our guests ,-) It's surrounded by our own forrest, our town is about 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes by foot away. There are a multitude of hinking ways, directly starting or passing by or you can be at the beach with just 10 minutes drive by car. Or visit Barcelona or Girona, both some 50 minutes by car. We have a 600 MBit internet connection which should suit every zoom and teams fan ,-) There is a laundry room with dryer and washing machine and a clima installation for all places. As we did just finish the large part of the reformation it's all pretty new and modern, although we tried to maintain a lot of the historic appearance. Various garden areas and terraces should allow you to enjoy our outdoor live and in the evening you can enyjoy the large commen space in the Masia. At …

At this time of the year it should be very quite and relaxing. You need a car to get around however as bus stops by not more the 1x per hour and also for buying food and other stuff doing everything with public transport is possible but costs time. There are weekly markets in the towns around us to discover and also the Costa Brava is not too far away with a car. You could even hunt for mushrooms as the valleys here in this area are well known for this.

Tourism and Leisure

Visit Girona (our favourite) and Barcelona (of course as well) ! Hike the mountains, spend a day near the Pyrenaes, one at the Costa Brava, visit Sant Pol and enjoy the restaurants in this area - there are so many lovely places around here, it's difficult to put them in a text box here ,-)

Nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer Claudia et Sören lors de notre séjour en Espagne, où nous nous sommes occupés de leur belle propriété pendant leur absence. Ils nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement, avec un délicieux repas préparé par Claudia. Ils ont pris le temps de bien nous expliquer leurs attentes concernant l’entretien du jardin et de la piscine. La maison, entourée d’un grand espace extérieur, est très agréable et propice au repos. Elle se situe dans un environnement calme, idéal pour se ressourcer, avec de nombreuses randonnées et villages espagnols à découvrir aux alentours. Notre séjour s’est déroulé dans les meilleures conditions. Claudia et Sören sont des hôtes attentionnés et très agréables. Ils nous ont partagé de très bonnes adresses. Nous les recommandons vivement, et serions ravis de revenir pour un autre séjour.

La maison de Soren et Claudia est exceptionnelle, le charme de l'ancien et le confort moderne, située au milieu de terres boisées, avec très grand nombre de promenades possible aux alentours. J'ai été accueillie par un repas très convivial. Mila est adorable, un peu peureuse mais après un petit temps d'adaptation, elle a finit par nous adopter et de nous suivre partout, à chercher les caresses et à jouer. Il suffit de faire de longues promenades avec elle pour la rendre heureuse. Je recommande grandement et aurais plaisir à y retourner, merci pour votre confiance.
