The two dogs are large, one is elderly and the the other has a bad leg at the moment so they only need gentle walking every day. They need feeding in the evening and like company, although they're happy in their beds by the fire. The kittens spend the day outside and come inside in the evenings to warm by the fire and cuddle. They stay in at night.

Restored house/barn in small village. 2 hectares of land and swimming pool. Between Toulouse and Bordeaux. Shops a short drive away. English and French t.v., wood burning stove. Ideally situated for long walks in the country, visits to gastronomic restaurants and fortified villages. 3-4 hours from Spain, 1.5 hours from Carcassonne, 2-3 hours from Atlantic ocean and Mediterranean sea.

There are bikes, wellies, English and French t.v., numerous walks and cycle routes. In the village, there is also an equestrian centre. The garden is very large and there is an organic vegetable garden and fruit trees. A car is necessary to get about.

The house is in a small village and as such is quiet and peaceful. The nearest towns are 20 minutes drive away with all amenities and weekly markets. The next village Dunes is 2.5 kms away and has a bar, gastronomic restaurant, pizza restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, hairdressers and an excellent boulangery for your bread and patisserie.

There's lots to see and do in the area. Toulouse and Bordeaux are a short drive away, as is the medieval city of Carcassonne. You can also take the opportunity to spend a day at the French and Spanish ski slopes of the Pyrenees which are only 3 hours away.

It's an area famed for its gastronomy,with a large number of excellent restaurants nearby including 2 Michelin starred ones.
