George is an indoor cat, l live on the first floor (it has a functioning lift), l do let him explore the corridor but l don’t take him outside without putting his harness on. His diet is straightforward, he doesn’t want/need treats. He has a water fountain which needs topping up from time to time and a cat litter tray, which has wood pellets and is disposed over down the toilet. There are several contacts within the building if you need assistance/help and my son lives a few miles away.

I live in an over-55s studio apartment on the outskirts of Brighton in East Sussex, UK. Brighton is as well-known for being a welcoming and diverse city with a passion for culture, creativity and sustainability. If you wish to know more take a look at www.visitbrighton.com There is an excellent bus service into the main Churchill Square, as well as the Brighton marina. I am looking for someone to cover the Christmas week - 23rd to 30th December. M apartment is a warm and comfortable and George, my gorgeous cat, is low maintenance. I simply would like him to have some company while l visit relatives. He sleeps on the bed, but not on me! He has a very laid back way about him. My studio apartment is a bit like staying in a hotel room with the advantage of being free to come and go as you please. I enjoy where l live, it has easy access to the city, the buses run through the night and is a great place to stay on holiday at any time of the year. The South Downs Way is a short walk from my apartment with beautiful country walks, there is a small farm shop nearby. If you enjoy walking visit Sussex Walks on FB for plenty of ideas of where to walk. There are several pubs in the vicinity, some put on live music. There is a fabulous large charity complex in the village called Emmaus, there are several local cafés, a fish & chip shop, Chinese take away, Indian take away.

Brighton has an eclectic mix of arts and theatre, it is bohemian and extremely popular with tourists, as well as those of us who have the good fortune to live here, The Lanes are famous for their quirky shops, pubs, eateries. It has a pier and just along from the pier there has been a lot of regeneration with crazy golf, cafés, beach volley ball, Sea Lanes etc. There is lots of entertainment on the beach front, not just the i360, live music venues, fresh seafood restaurants. The mainline train station is only an hour from London.
