We have a mixed race, large, hairy, rescue sheep dog. He loves his flock of humans but is very noisy every time someone comes to the door. Our old cat is 16 and takes his time eating and so his meals have to be defended from young Pablo

A restored large old house in a small village one mile from the sandy beaches of lower Normandy. It is cosy in the winter with a heat pump generating the central heating as well as a wood burner

We have set our television to English channels but the internet is sufficiently fast to bring your own FireStick and stream. We have internet radio and a blue tooth speaker as well as a built in sound system

We are at the edge of a village, there are neighbours but also across the road there are fields to walk Max (the dog). We are just over a mile to the sea and slightly less to the centre of the village where there is a medical centre, pharmacy, supermarket and hairdressers

Tourism and Leisure

This part of Normandy is lively throughout the year. The landing beaches form WW2 are about an hours drive away, the city of Coutances (15 mins drive away), has a Cathedral, theatre and botanical garden. There are many fine as well as simple restaurants in the area. Coutainville is a pretty beachside town also about 15 mins drive away.
