Maggie is a very friendly 11 year old cat. She is healthy and very easy to take care of. We would expect that you give her freshwater and food every day and give her lots of love. We would also like the litter box screened daily and the litter changed at least once while we are gone.

We live in a big and beautiful apartment overlooking Kobe Japan. Designed by the world-renowned architect Ando Tadao, this famous building is an architect's dream. The apartment is 1850 sq feet with an 800 sq foot balcony where you have a view of both Kobe, Osaka and Osaka Bay. The apartment has two bedrooms, an office, and a tatami room. There is also a communal pool, gym, and sauna. You can be in downtown Osaka in about 40 mins by the local train and Kyoto is just an hour away by bullet train.

But the best part is you'll get to snuggle with Maggie, a cute and extremely friendly adult female cat. You can see the building and amenities in the first half of this youtube video. We have a large collection of books on meditation, and spirituality. We also have an Ereada Far Infrared Amethyst Mat and a massage table that is a wonderful way to relax and recharge after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment also has a communal sauna, pool and a small gym (it's admittedly pretty old school but does have a treadmill and bike) for your use. The television has a playstation 4 and a Roku box for watching movies or playing games. There is also high-speed wireless internet.

Even though Kobe is a big city (about 1.5 million people), our apartment is quiet. Every morning as you walk into the main living area you will be greeted by a million-dollar view of the city and Osaka Bay. Our apartment is built into the mountains so you are surrounded by nature and yet the grocery store is only a 7 min walk. The closest train station is about 15 mins walking and several bus stops are 6 mins from the apartment. Please note that there is a short but steep walk up to the building (Less than 1 minute walking time). There is an elevator in the building but there will still be some stairs that are unavoidable.

Tourism and Leisure

Kobe is in the Kansai region. So doing day trips to Kyoto and Osaka are easily doable. We often take the train into Osaka for dinner. There are shrines and temples even within walking distance of the apartment.
