We have a Shepard mix. She's medium size and needs at least 2 good walks a day. She is very easy-going, loves going to the river or walks in the forest, and playing fetch. She can also accompany you on errands or outings. She's very social and loves to say hello to other dogs. She is very cuddly and is used to getting a lot of hugs. She eats twice a day but usually grazes throughout the day. She is very thirsty so needs water constantly in her bowl. She sleeps in our bedroom but will happily sleep wherever her bed is. She gets a little too excited around cats. When left alone, she is used to getting a treat like a frozen peanut butter kong.

3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Salies-deBéarn. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is bright and airy and has a lovely view of the park across the street. Salies de Béarn is a lovely village most known for its thermal salt baths. Restaurants, a movie theatre, and the farmer's market are all within minutes walking distance. The region is beautiful with lots of neighboring villages to visit, hikes in the pyrenees, and the basque coast about 40 minutes drive away.

The region is very relaxing. There are also little events that happen in Salies as well as neighboring villages. Parking is very easy. The apartment is easy to live in as long as you don't mind 2 flights of stairs. It has been well insulated so does not get hot with elevated exterior temperature. There is a restaurant in the building but it is only open on weekdays at lunch time. There is a nice public swimming pool nearby as well.

Sauveterre de Béarn is a charming medieval village with a stunning view of the Pyrenees and is a 10 minute drive away. All the Basque coastal towns, like Biarritz and Bayonne, are between 40-60 min drive away. San Sebastian is 1 1/2 hour drive away and Louka has her dog passport to travel to Spain. Bilbao is about 2 1/2 hour drive. Pau is the capital of the Béarn and is a 40 minute drive away. The pyrenees and its national parks are within 1 1/2 hour. Many Basque villages such as Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port are all within 45 minutes - 1 hour away. The amazing river Gave with infinite swim spots and kayaking spreads throughout the entire region.
