Hello,

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing weekend away in nature, this place is for you.
My name is Dan and together with my partner Jana we are looking for someone or a couple (MAX 2 people).
No Kids or other animals. Sorry.
We have a big property, lots of corners to enjoy the tranquillity and breathtaking views onto the Pyrénées.

You have to walk our dog Max in the morning and maybe water our veggie gardens if it's too hot. No other work involved.

We have a Airbnb on site, which is completely separated from your living quarters. They have there own entrance parking spot etc. No need to do anything there either. Just that you know there might be guests staying while you are here. Maximum of 2people

Max is a rescue dog which we brought over with us from Australia in 2024. He speaks only english and he settled in very well. One more walk in the afternoon/evening would be nice too. He doesn't need much attention during the day as he is not the type which hangs around your feet at all times. He is very "self sufficient" during the day- he sleeps and roames around the big property …

It is a very quiet neighbourhood with lots of farmland around. Perfect for bike riding and long walks.
Miélan, the closest town is 5kms away, Mirande a larger one about 10kms which has the best Monday Market in the region :)
Miélan has a market too and a shop. You will need a car to get around.

We are looking for people which are happy to be outside and do things. The Pyrénées are 1h drive away.

The Gers, friendly people. An amazing countryside. Lots of farm fresh organic food. The Mirande Market is every Monday and us one of the best in the region 😊
Nice restaurants and nature.
Quiet, hilly and peaceful. Perfect for people who like to hike and in general enjoy the outdoors. The country roads here are almost empty and perfect for bike riding.
1h drive into the Pyrénées.
Bagnere di Bigorre and it's Thermal Bath is 50min away.

We had the most wonderful time with Max during the 7 months we spent in Bazugues! Max is an incredible dog, very smart and well-behaved. We had so many great moments with him, discovering the beautiful Gers' countryside and the mountains. The location is beautiful and peaceful with breathtaking views onto the Pyrenees. Jana and Dan's home is very comfortable, well-equipped and the chickens and the garden are easy to look after. Everything was clearly explained from the start, and communication was smooth and friendly throughout. We would absolutely recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys a calm, countryside setting with lovely animals to care for. Thank you again, Jana and Dan, for your trust, it was an unforgettable experience!

Jana and Dan are very friendly and easygoing people who live on a beautiful part of the Gers countryside. Their dog is very independent and roams freely around the property yet he is also obedient and good company. I have enjoyed staying in Bazugues and getting to look after their nice dog.
