Notre tortue terrestre Sidonie (qui a presque 40 ans) pèse 10 kg et demande peu de soins.
Nous recherchons quelqu'un ayant VRAIMENT l'habitude de s'occuper de plantes vertes, d'un jardin et d'un potager et qui saura prendre les bonnes décisions en fonction de la météo.
Au printemps, la pelouse sera à tondre pendant votre séjour (tondeuse électrique à batterie).
Les plantes d'intérieur seront à arroser 1 fois par semaine.
Nous recherchons une personne soigneuse car nous avons beaucoup de vaisselle et objets anciens chinés sur les brocantes.
Dans notre maison, nous faisons très attention à ne pas gaspiller l'énergie, notamment l'eau qui est une ressource précieuse : pas de bains mais des douches rapides, pas de lumière allumée dans les pièces où nous ne sommes pas. Nous attendons la même vigilance de la part de nos home-sitters.

Longère de plus de 200 ans entièrement restaurée . Dans un petit village à 45 kms au sud de Paris. RER C? bus et commerces à proximité. Grand jardin arboré et carrés potager. Maison confortable de 160 m2 avec 3 chambres dont 2 seront disponibles (notre chambre reste privée et non accessible tout comme mon atelier), 1 bureau et 1 grand salon donnant sur le jardin avec terrasse pavée et salon d'été couvert.
MAISON NON FUMEUR / PAS DE VOITURE A DISPOSITION
Nous avons également un barbecue, un salon de jardin et des chaises longues.

Nous sommes situés dans le parc régional du Gâtinais, à 45 kms au sud de Paris (accessible avec le RER C en 45 mn), à 48 kms de Fontainebleau ou de Versailles, à 1h30 de Chartres, .....
Nous sommes entourés de parcs et de châteaux à visiter ou s'y promener (Chamarande, St Jean de Beauregard, Courances, Courson, ...).
Nombreux sentiers de randonnée au départ de la maison.
Jolis marchés à proximité (Arpajon le vendredi matin, Dourdan et Etampes le samedi matin, sans oublier le marché paysan du samedi matin sur la place de notre village).

Avec quelque peu de retard, nous recommandons cette belle maison, le chat et la tortue, son grand jardin située entre Fontainebleau et Rambouillet. De beaux châteaux à visiter et de belles balades en forêt. Nous avons reçu un accueil sympathique et avons passé une soirée conviviale avec les propriétaires.

I can't say enough about how much Olivia and I enjoyed our stay at the home of Veronique and Yves. The home and garden are a little piece of paradise, the village and countryside is beautiful, and being 45 minutes to Paris was absolutely wonderful to explore the city on day trips. Olivia and I loved Sidonie, their sweet tortoise. Most of all Veronique and Yves were kind and welcoming and so fun to get to know. We highly recommend this stay!!

I was delighted to get an opportunity to meet Nina, Sidonie, Prima, Véronique, Yves and to enjoy the weeks in the company of Nina and Sidonie. Véronique and Yves are attentive and experienced hosts who let me to enjoy the comfort of their well maintained and decorated with the great taste house. The communication was from the beginning and through my stay very effective and fast. All the dates and times for arrival and departure were kept precisely as agreed what I appreciated immensely (by having unfortunately the many different experiences was very delighted not to handle the last minute changes). Despite being very busy Véronique and Yves kindly offered me help in picking me up and bringing back from and to the train station, what I certainly didn’t take for granted. The well-written home-book summarised the all instructions, the useful phone numbers as well as the good addresses. Nina is a an adorable and very endearing kitty girl, who despite her age looks like a kitten and have some very sweet habits which brought me to smile many times and every day was a lovely celebration having her close to me. Sidonie wasn’t really talkative, but good at whistling and the hide and seek game☺️, she adores to eat many types of food and not only salads. The garden is a little corner of paradise on earth, it is natural and at the same time all plants arranged in the perfect harmony with each other. The location is peaceful, the neighbours are friendly and helpful.
