Bad Mergentheim

Our main concern when we are away is that our two cats, Chimi and Churri (Chimichurri is an argentinian barbecau Sauce) get a lot of love and attention, specially in the morning and in the evening. They are appartment cats, we don´t have an easy way for them to go to the street, that´s why they only stay in the appartment (inclusive the balcony). So if you let them out to the balcony a few times a day, they are happy about it. You must also feed them twice a day, check that they have water and clean the cat´s toilets. They are four years old, so they don´t need to play a lot, but they are happy if you do!
We have some plants that only need water once a week.

This Dates are firm, we are visiting my Family in Argentina, we are flying on the 22nd of Dezember early in the morning and we are coming back on the 05th of January late in the evening. If you are not able to arrive on These Dates, I can arrange someone to receive you and give you the keys. Thank you very much!

We are a married couple with a 2 year old son. Paula comes from Argentina but we live together in Germany and we like to travel a lot, making our first steps in house sitting. But we have already gained some experience with CouchSurfing by hosting travellers at home or meeting CouchSurfers on the road. We´ve decided to turn to house sitting since we have two lovely cats at home who need company when we are away.
We would love to welcome you in our Apartment in a small town located in a beautiful German village on the romantic road. Apart of taking care of our two cats, you should enjoy the touristic area where we live. We are talking about walking or bike tours, wine tasting, history around the Castles in the towns, nearby there is even a Zoo some minutes away (one of the top 20 must sees in Germany!).

If the weather is nice you can sit in our balcony and enjoy the peace over a beer or wine of the Region. You can use our Netflix, Amazon Prime & Disney+ accountS to watch anything you want, we have some books/novels and of course you can also use our Sport Equipments (to Train your muscles) or bikes.
There is also a thermal bath in the next City, where there are swiming pools and Sauna.
Parking space is not a problem. We have one spot in the building but you can also park on the street free of charge.

You can reach our village by train, the nearest aiports are in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Nürnberg.
In concern with Shopping possibilities, in the village there are farmacies, backeries and butcher's Shops. There are also many Restaurants/Bars, a mini-golf and a Bowling. Less than 10 km away there are more restaurantes, Shops if you want to buy souveniers or clothes and a Shopping mall with a Casino and Cinema. There is even a philharmonic 6 km away which offers shows every weekend. If you don´t have a car, you can use our bikes or take the Train! If the weather is nice we can also recomend you to walk, there are really nice views on the way.

If you want to make some day trips there are many posibilities with the Train, you can visit bigger cities like Würzburg, Wertheim, Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Nürnberg. Or you can take a look at the small villages on the romatic road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. You can ask me and I can advice you exactly what to do and how to get there. I also have maps of all this cities at home, since we get a lot of visitos during the year :)
