Our cat, Lea is very shy and timid and needs patience. She will be loving once she knows you a little bit. She has no cat flap and will tell you when she wants to go outside and come back in.
We have a few plants to water and the post to collect. Also we need you to keep an eye on the water level in the pool and either empty or fill as required should the weather dictate.

We are heading off on 22nd and returning on the 30th but would like to have a small cross-over time with you in order to show you around and help you settle in. And to introduce you to Lea the cat, of course. We arrive back late afternoon on 30th but are happy to have you stay until the following day, should you wish.

Situated in the "golden triangle" between the medieval villages and towns of Cordes Sur Ciel, Albi and Gaillac, it is a beautiful region nestled in the vineyards. The house is surrounded by vines and you can walk to the nearest vineyard to buy your wine in two minutes! The village of Compaganc is quiet and the views are spectacular. But we are less than 10 minutes by car from the nearest restaurant. There are endless bike tails and walks and canoeing all around us. Our house was built in 2017 and designed by us. It's spacious and has a wood fire, a swimming pool, vegetable garden and large general garden. It's very private. We have a lot of English and some French DVDs, along with masses of books in both languages for you to choose from. We have subscriptions for film streaming also. You will have use of a car and two electric bikes, one for a male and one for a female. The local village is two minutes up the road. We are twenty minutes from a main supermarket and the town of Gaillac where there is a Friday morning market. In any direction however, you will find a beautiful …

Tourism and Leisure

This whole region is beautiful and full of medieval villages such as Castlenau de Montmiral (9 mins), Cordes Sur Ciel (10 mins), Puycelci (15 mins) Saint Antonin de Noble Val (20 mins). The larger town of Gaillac has a town square and all usual amenities including a cinema. The larger town of Albi is 30 minutes away with its stunning cathedral and cobbled streets. The region is famous for its duck so do try the confit in any restaurant.

Notre séjour dans le Tarn s'est très bien passé. Nous avons été très Bien accueillis par Debbie et Philippe dont c'était la première expérience Nomador. Leur maison est très confortable avec une vue magnifique sur La vallée du Tarn. Léa la petite chatte est facile à garder et affectueuse. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
