I have two lovely cats, Gilly and Také. In terms of looking after them, it is fairly basic - feeding wet food 2x a day, cleaning litter box everyday, playing with them as much as you can! :) They love human contact and love to cuddle - Gilly will always be waiting for you on the couch after for Netflix and cuddles!
They are pretty easy, but they love human attention and playing times so it's just important to give them love!

Although the happiness and healthiness of my cats are the priority, I am of course also looking for someone who is responsible and, most importantly, clean and tidy with the apartment.
This is also important for the cats, as they are curious about every single piece of food left out and will try it, no matter what it is! Except kimchi, which a relief I guess!
This means it's really important to be tidy and not forget about leftover food and dishes around, as they really will go for it.

Také seems to have some sort of after-litter-box-zoomies, in these moments I just calm him down and give him belly rubs and that seems to sort it!

The departure date is set on the 5th of December, but my return date is still relatively flexible at the beginning of February. It's possible I might be back at the end of January, but I would let you know this as soon as possible.

My cosy 2-room 1st floor apartment is located in a quiet back building in trendy Prenzlauer Berg, with many popular restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets all within a 5-minute walk. It is also very close to S&U-Bahn Schönhauser Allee, giving you convenient access to all parts of the city. The famous Mauerpark, with its popular weekend flea market, is also just a short walk away!

The living room has a 4K Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and a Playstation Pro with all my video games, plus a great sound system, high-speed reliable WiFi and a workstation with a 4K monitor. The apartment also has a south-facing balcony fitted with a cat net, overlooking a leafy inner courtyard and getting lovely sunlight throughout the year.

You're welcome to use everything in the apartment during your stay, including the Playstation, streaming services and 4K monitor. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a gas stove, which is a highlight for me as I love cooking! You’ll also have unlimited access to my spices and other ingredients that I regularly use :)

Prenzlauer Berg is one of Berlin's most sought-after neighbourhoods, with a great mix of young families, artists and a generally safe and pleasant atmosphere. Some of the city's best cafes, restaurants, bars and boutique shops are right on the doorstep. I love being able to work from home during the day, then walk 5 minutes for a beer in a nice Biergarten, a coffee in a relaxed cafe, or meet friends at a nearby bar.

In my opinion, some of Berlin's best food is right in the area: the best burger (Burgermeister), pizza (Malafemmena), sushi (Sasaya) and Indian food (Meena Kumari), just to name a few. I also have lots of maps and recommendations prepared for your stay!

Although the neighbourhood can be lively, the apartment itself is very quiet thanks to its location in the back courtyard. It's a cosy place to work by the window (with Gilly or Také often happy to sit on your lap!) or relax on the couch with Netflix or some games.

There is also a large running track nearby with an outdoor gym, as well as plenty of nice parks for walking and exercising.

Berlin is an incredible city with so so so much to do. Whether you're into the clubbing scene, the food scene, the bar scene, the art scene, or beautiful nature, the city literally has it all. From my apartment, you can easily access everywhere within the city within 30 minutes, as the ringbahn is located at Schönhauser Allee, and there are also trains going into Alexanderplatz in 5 mins which also takes you wherever you need to go. But this area of Prenzlauer Berg is also just fantastic.

I would give you a huge list of recommendations in this area, to the point where you might not even have to leave the area since it has it all - I find myself sometimes surprised that I haven't left my kiez (district) in a month or so!
