Trixie is a sweet 10-year-old cat who is pretty low maintenance : ) She likes people and likes to loaf around in the sun or sleep under blankets. We have some plants that need watering, once a week or so. Also low maintenance ; ) We would love to find someone who loves cats and is interested in checking out the area + the river. It's beautiful!

Sunny, peaceful apartment 5 minutes walking distance from the beautiful Loire river (can walk for miles/kms in both directions). Also 5 mins walking from a big grocery store + pharmacy + tram stop (less than 10 mins to city center!). Orléans city center is a 20-min walk (along the river if you want) It's a lovely French city in a rich agricultural valley with a nice easygoing rhythm. I just moved here from Barcelona a few months ago and I LOVE it!

This house sitting experience was my very first one and Sonja could not have made it any better! She allowed me flexibility in dropping off and storing my luggage for a few days prior to the actual house sitting dates and I was so grateful for that option! Sonja was clearly interested in helping me have the best experience possible in her town while I was taking care of Trixie. She shared detailed information about events and markets in Orleans and was quick to respond during her time away to any and all questions. The location of her apartment was ideal and quiet--I just LOVED walking by the river and thru the historic town. Her apartment is comfortable and perfect in every way. THANK YOU, Sonja and Trixie for this amazing experience that I will never forget! I hope our paths cross again some day either here or there! :-)
