.We have a cat, Jasmine, which came from the rescue centre and is now about 15 months old. She is not frightened of people and will sit on your lap and be petted, but will not allow you to pick her up. She is not yet allowed out of the house.
We also want someone who will look after the house, watering plants and tidying the garden.

We would like house sitters to come 1 day early, on the 2nd January so we can get to know them and give instructions about the house and surrounding area.

Converted Coachman's Cottage dated 1750. Detached with reasonable size garden. 2 miles from centre of Bath and 150 yds from bus stop with regular service to Bath. Half mile to village shops in Batheaston.
Although modernized, gas central heating, two bathrooms, log burning stove and modern galley kitchen, the house has a lot of it's original features. There are two bedrooms and a study.

There are two bikes available for use. We have a small collection of CDs, DVDs and books, plus access to Netflix.

On the outskirts of the beautiful city of Bath (15 minutes by bus) surrounded by countryside. The river is 10 minutes walk and the Kennet and Avon Canal 1 km away. There is a pathway that goes along the canal into Bath along which you can walk, run or cycle. We have an attractive garden with nice views from the upstairs windows. It's a nice house to live in.

Bath a city with many attractions where you can spend hours just wandering around marveling at the history. Museums and art galleries are plentiful and there is the excellent Theatre Royal.
There are many countryside walks.
The area is full of good restaurants and pubs, some of which provide live music.
