I have a 15lb Doxie (dachshund/Yorki mix). He is an easy guy, but cannot be left alone overnight or for more than 4 hours at a time during the day.. The house sit dates usually include a couple of days before we leave without any dog-watching responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to meet Niles ahead of time, and so you can make some longer day trips around the area without any responsibilities. Occasionally, we can accommodate a few days extension on the end of the stated date if our schedule permits. These must be negotiated ahead of time.
We prefer an older female or older couple to petsit as that is what Niles is used to and what our community is composed of. He is not good with children.

Additional information about these dates

Our dates are not firm yet. These dates include 3 days at the start with no dog sitting responsibilities, which lets you explore the area without worrying bout Niles (take longer hikes or day trips around the area) and also to meet Niles and get used to the townhouse ahead of us leaving town. We have 2 townhomes in the same complex; so we would reside at the other while you are here. We can possibly also add a few days on the back end of the published dates if you desire a longer stay, but not exceeding a total of two weeks.

We live in an upscale, townhome neighborhood, Vista Montana, in a 1250 sq ft, one-level townhome that is within walking distance to hiking trails, Whole Foods and the Posse Grounds recreation complex. The arts center, theaters and restaurants are within 1.5 miles of our townhouse. However, it is recommended to have a car (rent or bring) so that you can see all Sedona has to offer. The one-level townhome has two bedrooms, two baths, a front patio for entertaining, a side courtyard for grilling food or dining, a bedroom courtyard perfect for reading or meditating. There is a queen bed in the Master bedroom and a king-sized Murphy bed in the second bedroom which doubles an office space. There is an elliptical machine in the 2nd bedroom. There is a smart TV in the living room with Netflix and Hulu and Amazon prime subscriptions as well as WiFi. There is a pool in the complex. It is walking distance (3 blocks) from Posse grounds park which has an amphitheater, tennis and pickle ball courts, a par course and more. The location is one …

The neighbors all watch out for each other. It is not appropriate for children.
