Torre Alháquime

I'm looking for someone who likes cats, plants and peace & quiet.
I expect a sitter to care for the cat and plants as good as possible, to respect my things, to be responsible and to leave the place as found. Please don't reply if you're not sure if you will be able to come..

As I'm not booking anything before I've found a cat loving sitter these datesare flexible. I could go fewer day too, if that works better for you. Although I'd prefer to go the first week of august

It's an old house with very thick walls which makes it a cool place in the hot Spanish summers. It used to part of a bigger building, a college, so the interior has a bit of an odd layout. First what I call my entrance hall/ room, and the bathroom.. Then the living room with its even thicker walls. Behind the living room two bedrooms. In one I made a living/ work room because it's easy to warm up in the winter and has nice daylight (the living room has no windows) Next to the living room there a ïn between room" where I have my Reiki practice. Behind that room is a big kitchen. Next to the kitchen is the "castle-worthy corridor" which leads to a small enclosed yard. The first floor isn't renovated so it's not in use now. It's not a fancy house but is has enough to live a simple but happy life.The village has around 800 inhabitants. Life is slow and quiet.. Nature , blue skies , hills,hiking, cycling and very friendly and welcoming people.. As you can see in the picture. The village is built on and around a hill. Not a lot of flat streets here. Well, a few. The street were I live is quite steep only has a few occupied houses (some summer houses, some empty) no traffic so lots of peace and quiet. You might hear a rooster, sheep or the donkey.
My cat Pikachu is quite easygoing. She spends a lot of time wondering the streets of the village. She comes in every once in a while to check if someone is home. I call her, or per her quickly and of she goes. There's always a window open so she can come and go as she likes. I try to play with here every day for 5-10 minutes or so. She'll let you know what she wants as she's very smart. Oh, and it would be wonderful if you'd be able to keep my plats alive.

It's not a buzzing town. There are 4 bars, three serve lovely and cheap food. There are 4 little shops, which have an surprising variety of products, and a sausage factory. The pool down the hill is open. It's a great place to hike. Olvera is 5 km away, Ronda a half an hour drive. Buses are rare. I don't have a TV . Wi-Fi available.

Olvera 5 km, Ronda (big city) 30 minutes drive. It's all about olives here. Plenty of olive fields and a few wine yards. A wine in made locally here. Hiking and biking are popular and there's a para glide center close by. In Setenil you find the cave houses another nice place to visit. Good food, cheap drinks and lovely people.
