We have a Hovawart of almost 12 years old, her name is Ike. She is a sweet, calm dog who, because of her age, can no longer take such long walks. So one a day is enough. There are several short walks from our house and Ike also loves car rides. She can also stay in the house for several hours without any problems. The only obstacle is that the house is rented out for several weeks in July and August. So the house sitter will need to be able to take her to their own home.
Furthermore, the house sitter has to water the plants in the pots and do a bit of garden and pool maintenance

House

Our modern house is built entirely in wood, with a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Entirely ground floor with a very spacious terrace with beautiful views over the vineyards and a swimming pool. The house is located on a small dead-end road that continues as an off-road path through the montagne noir.
We are within walking distance of a nice village with a bakery, small supermarket and restaurants.

Our house is beautifully set in the countryside, yet close to a cosy village. With a lovely pool with fine seating in the sun or shade overlooking the vineyards. There are also plenty of walking and cycling trails in the area, and concerts are held in the village on a regular basis.

Saskia et Martijn nous ont chaleureusement accueillis dans leur magnifique domaine dans la Creuse. Nous ne sommes pas prêts d'oublier cette belle expérience aux côtés de leurs animaux, surtout de Ike, leur jolie hovawart, qui va beaucoup nous manquer. Nous avons été très bien logé et nous avons échangé des nouvelles régulièrement. Saskia et Martijn sont très gentils, nous sommes impatients de les revoir en France ou sur les routes du monde !
