Needs and animals

1 Dog | 1 Cat

We have a Labrador, called Martzi and a friendly fat ginger cat, Hairly Mclarry.
Martzi, the dog needs to be let out 3 times a day. After the morning walk in the near park, he can be left at home. He would sleep all day,however around 3-4pm the latest he will always need his second walk. Martzi has breakfast and dinner and would follow a simple diet. The dog doing very well in the car so if you are planning to drive somewhere for a day out, possibly could take Martzi with you as he will be no trouble in dog friendly places.

The cat comes and goes as he wish :) doesn't have indoor litter so no need to worry about cleaning that. Hairy spends most of his day sleeping either inside or outside and would spend the nights out. You can be sure he turns up for his breakfast and dinner and that's all.

No medical needs, but they have insurance in case they would get sick and would be in need of medical attention.

We have some indoor and outdoor plants, this might need watering once a week. They are easy to care for

Our three bedroom, terraced home is situated within short cycling distance of great green spaces with excellent walking/relaxing spots next to a river and pond. Our garden proved privacy with the tall hedges and you can use the BBQ. City centre is 15 minutes by car or the same with bicycles, bus stop within few minutes walk. Local shops, a number of take-aways and Tesco Express also within few minutes reach. We live next to a local park (under 1 mins walk) where Martzi could be walked, you can run or use the basketball/football court. Leisure centre with swimming pool, badminton, squash court, gym nearby (few mins with bicycle or on the bus route) We likes riding a bike, these will be available for our sitters ( male/femal and child bike). The Bristol-Bath bicycle route is ver near to our house and gives a leisurely ride along the river to Bath. In the other direction, you can access Bristol town centre within 15mins:) There are some weight and kettle bell available for excercise. There are plenty of supermarkets to choose from, 5 mins driving or 20 walking. There is a small central for our area with supermarkets, bank, doctors, pharmacy and local shops …

Within twi minutes walk there are local shops, Tesco Express and many take-away options including fish and chips, Chinese, Kebab and more.

The main city centre is about 12 minutes drive or can use the nearby bus stop or take our bikes. There is a great bycicle route from Bristol City Centre and Bath. You can choose each direction for adventures, you won't be disappointed.

My stay at Norina's house was very nice. Norina made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. She had some brochures about what could be seen around when I wasn't taking care of Martzy and Hairy . She kept in touch with me via what's app before during and after my stay . She even kindly sent me back a bracelet I had forgotten . Her neighbours were really friendly too . I will definitely visit them again . I miss their lovely dog.

Norina (et son mari Bali) sont des personnes très gentilles. Ils se sont adaptés à mes fates de départ. Ils m'ont donné regulierement des nouvelles de mon chat Lucky, qui a joué les grands timides et ne s'est pas trop laissé approcher. Malgré ca, ils se sont donnés les moyens de le mettre en confiance. Je recommande, les yeux fermés, ce charmant couple pour vos prochains départs.
