Needs and animals

1 Dog

10 year old Cock a Poo, lovely nature with people. A little awkward with other dogs and to be kept on lead during walks. Walked twice a day, just loves getting out to sniff. Fed once in morning 9ish and once in evening 6ish. As its only a 9-10 day sit, there's no real tasks other than keeping Buddy and the house safe and clean.

We depart on the 5th July, very early so would like a handover and were back on the 15th July. If you would need to stay an additional night for travel purposes that's okay.

House

1890's Cottage (Modernized and extended out the back,)4 bedrooms large open kitchen space, long private garden and front lane entrance. 2-4 minutes walk from beach, and close to amenities, pub and shops.

We have full WIFI, tv, Netflix etc and music access. We have a lovely private garden with a pergola and BBQ area. There is a Kayak, Paddle board and two bikes for full use.

Our home is situated in Ballyholme, a small seaside village/suburb of Bangor. Everything is 'walkable and then are all the amenities required within walking distance. The house is very quaint and private and we know everybody in the neighbourhood, most of whom we would consider good friends. There is a lovely pub restaurant with a outside terrace situated 3-4 minutes walk and you can be on the beach in the same amount of time (although our Irish weather doesn't always cooperate!!)

Tourism and Leisure

Ballyholme is a lovely place to live and visit based on everything previously stated. It is also only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Bangor which has a range of restaurants and pubs, modern and traditional as well as a seafront Marina and coastal path.

The description is very accurate. We loved staying in the House and care for the dog Buddy. He was very cute, friendly, loved to be with us, but although could stay by his own. He doesn‘t like to be with to many other people. The communication with Paul and Joan was brilliant. We didn‘t Met them personally, but with video phone calls, mails, WhatsApp messages, little video sequences about all the important items Like heat, technic stuff, and how to handle Buddy in Special occacions we were very good prepared. The adult daughter picked us up from the train Station and gave us a Short handover, what was very nice. The House is situated in a very nice area , close to the beach, with fantastic coast Walks and with public transportation easy going to Belfast and nice little villages around. We really enjoyed our time and recommend the stay. Thank you to Joan, Paul and Juliette ,and Buddy. We will miss him.
