Needs and animals

1 Dog

We have a Welsh Springer Spaniel dog. He needs to be taken for a walk both morning and evening and sleeps in the room you will be in on the floor (large bedroom on the top floor). He's a lovely dog who is easy to look after and will be great company for you. Our house has a garden in the back which you can also let him out into when he wants to go.

Our stay at Kongens Lyngby with the adorable Charlie was absolutely magnificent! He is such a good 'guide' to all the 'gangsti' (shortcuts!) in the area and he absolutely loves the walks around the lake (birdwatching!). We were lucky to experience also the snow (coming from then 'no snow' Helsinki, Finland! 😁) - and Charlie went totally crazy enjoying the snow! He is wonderful! It's very easy to take the train to Copenhagen (20mins) but we mainly stayed in the lovely Lungby; it was cosy and so relaxing staying at the Martins' lovely home with gorgeous Charlie. This was the perfect first experience for us dog sitting - and we absolutely loved it!

We had a very pleasant stay in Copenhagen. The Martin family and their two delightful daughters, who speak a little French, are lovely and warm hosts. Their beautiful home, with its garden, is ideally located 20 minutes from the city by train, allowing you to explore this beautiful capital before relaxing by the lake, very close to their home. The Danish people are cheerful and happy, cycling is king, and the quality of life is undeniable. Discover what the Danish "hygge" means! Finally, their dog CHARLY is an endearing and playful companion… an ideal presence!
